The M607n is best suited for larger offices with high-volume printing needs that do not need to print in color or use other functions like scan, copy, and fax offered by all-in-one printers. Although suitable, the M607n is overpriced for offices with low-volume single-function monochrome printing needs.

Bottom Line

In comparison to the other pricier printers in the HP LaserJet Enterprise M600 Series, the M607n definitely has its limitations which is expected being that it is the lowest priced. The M607n does not include standard duplexing, whereas the M607dn does. The M607n also is not compatible with high-yield toner cartridges, whereas the M608 and M609 models are. It is not quite as fast or as durable and does not have as many features as the other more expensive printers in the M600 Series.

However, the M607n does bring a lot to the table at its price point as a single-function monochrome large office printer. With print speeds of up to 55 ppm, it is very fast for a printer in this price range. With a recommended monthly page volume of up to 20,000 pages, it is also very durable and is able to handle large print outputs. The M607n also has a cost per print of 1.7 cents which is very low and enables efficient low-cost high-volume monochrome printing which could be an asset to large office settings with these needs. Overall, the M607n is a very fast, efficient single-function monochrome printer that delivers in its niche setting- large offices with high-volume printing needs that do not need to print in color or copy, scan, or fax.
