When installing a 44173403 black ribbon in the Microline 620, turn the cartridge's knob in the direction of its arrow to remove any slack. Turning it the other way can jam the ribbon, according to OKI's guide.

Toner Buzz carries genuine OKI 44173403 black ribbon cartridges for the Microline 620, sold individually. If you're ordering a spare, leave it in its packaging until you need it.
