The Color LaserJet 4730x MFP uses HP 644A toner, with separate Q7502A fuser and Q7504A transfer kits for maintenance. The fuser bonds toner to paper with heat; it does not supply the toner. A fuser or transfer-kit warning therefore calls for a different part from a low-toner warning.
